Hi guys!

I have the pilot as in the topic.
After connecting the USB cable, the remote control is visible in "Devices and Printers" as follows "Digital Lite".
When I run the RMIR and the application "Download from remote", I get the message "No remotes found".
In the RDF folder there is USB8008 file (URC-8610 XSight Lite).
RMIR running on Windows 7
I would ask for your support.

I apologise for the poor English.

kind regards

This can happen if you have put RMIR into the Program Files folder of Windows. That folder is read-only, and RMIR must be installed in a folder that is writeable.

If that is not the cause, please upload your rmaster.err file to the Diagnosis Area in the File Section. You will find the rmaster.err file in the folder in which you have installed RMIR. This file is rewritten every time you close RMIR, so you need to attempt a download, close RMIR and upload the file created by that failed attempt.

After doing the upload, you should post a link to that file here in this thread. If you don't know how to do that, just post a message to say that you have uploaded the file and we will find it.

Hi,

Great thanks to the tips.
I could not change the program Files folder attribute.
The solution to the problem was to run RMIR as an administrator.
Once again, thank you and greetings.

No, you cannot change the folder attributes of the Program Files folder. I suggest you reinstall RMIR into a different folder, for example create a folder called RemoteMaster on your C drive and install RMIR in that. Then you don't have to run it as Administrator.
