Add cable box Arris VIP 2952 to M1 Slingbox

I am in the Netherlands. I've bought a Slingbox M1 and during configuration I could'nt continue because my cable box Arris VIP 2952 is unknown to the the system. So for me installation of my M1 is impossible. I've read about bin files, but I haven't got a clue how to get and use such a file. Can somebody help me?

Download it and read the instructions contained in the bin file, then come back here if you encounter problems.
If your install doesn't work, please don't just say "It didn't work" as that doesn't give us enough info to help. Please read the included instructions (read them twice) and then provide answers to the troubleshooting questions and one of our experts should be able to help.
