Hi all experts,
I am looking for a remote(Slingbox 500) to control my Mut@nt HD500C.
Any suggestions? Thanks

We do have files for a couple of Xtrend models, have you tried those? (and they do use different signals)
Xtrend ET10000: (NEC1, dev 0)

Xtrend ET9000: (NEC1, dev 136)

Thanks for reply.
No above works, unfortunately.
I did a search for Mut@nt and HD500C at Logitech Harmony database and find it there if thats some help for experts.

Then you may well be in luck because that's what Alan (our Slingbox expert) uses.

Here are the only 2 Mut@nt upgrades UEI has that I know of. Give those a try.

I just added bin files to the zip, in case you don't know how to create them.

Lucky you found it in the Harmony database, as I have only ever seen a box with that protocol (NEC1 136:20) in one other device before, an Optibox PVR.
Give this a try:

Thanks Alan. Yours appears to match the 5328 UEI upgrade above.

Thank you alanrichey !

It works with your file. Mut@nt HD500C.zip
I am very grateful for your help.
and thanks mdavej, C2001_PL.bin in your package also works, but I think I'll stick with alanricheys because it has more custom keys configured.
The Robman, Maybe you can put all devices I mentioned above to that file (Mut@nt HD500C.zip) so others with these devices will find it, and not just HD500C. I am very sure that it works for these devices as well.
Thanks again all

Hi again,
One thing I noticed now when I stream through my android mobile Slingbox app. When I press MISC and then Volume Up / Down buttons I adjust only the volume of the phone and can not increase the volume of Mut@nt box. So if I forget the volume on low and leave home I can't increase the volume of Mut@nt.
Is it possible to connect the volume to two custom buttons, up / down?
With the computer I can control the volume when I right click on control and go to General->Volume Up/Down , but not with phone app.
Thanks

That is standard procedure. Sling have always hijacked the volume controls for use by the player. I've revised the BIN files so the volume codes are now generated by the Page+/- buttons.

Hi Experts,
Any advice if I can get a similar or same remote as my remote instead of the standard?
My look like this,

I dont like when many custom buttons is hidden and must right click and go to custom.

You don't appear to have read the README.TXT in the ZIP file ?

readme wrote:This file will use the basic, default, remote image. If you know of a built-in remote that actually displays a more realistic remote, then go back on the forum and I will see what I can do.
But if you want a much better remote 'skin' which does include the Custom Buttons, then check out this thread:
