When you do the reset, press 981 before clicking the Reset button for the final time.
I think it would be worth contacting the seller to see if you can get your money back. I've had success doing that with other Nevos with similar issues (dead pixels, screen lines, non-responsive buttons, etc.). Usually I just get a refund and the seller does not want the remote back. That would give you the funds to buy a replacement. Just tell the seller the screen has failed. |

I got a C2 yesterday from allshop29 and the rubber on the bottom is a super sticky mess. It is not usable. Do they get like that when they are old? |

No, I don't think it gets like that when it gets old.
The sticky glue can be easily removed with some alcohol swab. |

No, I don't think it gets like that when it gets old.
The sticky glue can be easily removed with some alcohol swab. |
It's not glue. It is like that rubber or plastic melted. |

well I thought it was some kind of oil that was sticky.
anyway, after i removed it with alcohol swab, it has yet to appear again, on either of my two c2 . |

Yes, the sticky is the ultimate fate of those rubber bits. You can try to remove it or cover with talcum powder. |

Just cleaned with rubbing alcohol. All the sticky is gone! I didn't think it would work. |
