Hi all,
My trusty 15-2116, which I had been using for almost 5 years, stopped working two days ago. It seemed to be a very simple problem because everything was functional but the remote was not transmitting.
I opened it and found that one of the two LEDs had a loose connection to the PCB. That was easily fixed with a soldering iron.
The problem is that while doing the repair I wasn't careful and the LCD fell to the floor and broke. Now I have a perfectly functioning remote that doesn't display anything. I know this is better than nothing but not having an LCD makes it harder to program the remote.
I realize my chances are not great but I was wondering if anyone know of a way of finding this part so I can replace it. The part is not soldered to the PCB, which is what caused it to fall while I was handling the remote to find the original problem in the first place, so if I can get my hands on a working LCD I am pretty sure I'll be able to fix it.
An old 2116 that doesn't work anymore and is not fixable will be perfect for this. Anyone has one and is willing to part ways with it?
Thanks in advance!

The LCD screen is a custom part, so your only hope for finding a replacement is a broken 15-2116 or 15-2117.
