Vicky,
If you think the freq is off a bit, try tweaking the protocol in PB.
Could you post an IR file of the learns from the upgrade as I'd like to see how close they are, and I think that's what John was trying to get at.

An IR file, ewwwww. I hate learning to a remotes, although it does have its advantages with the new IR8 features. I learned 6 keys to the 15-135 remote, Keys 1 to 3 correspond to learns from the first IR file that John posted. The bumps are in the right place, so any tweaking is going to be from protocol builder.

John, I just looked at the learns in Vicky's IR file and they're a perfect match for the learns that you posted. Therefore, I have created an IR file that is ready to be loaded into your URC-10820 remote, as this eliminates the chance of user error on your part. Could you give this a try and see if any of the buttons work (press the CBL button first as that's where I put the upgrade).

Rob,
Downloaded file and it works. Could only do a
quick check as I am going out the door as we
speak. Will test it further later.
Okay - what have I been doing wrong?
Every other file I have downloaded or
learned and made myself has worked.

I figured out the problem, and it's not your fault. RM was corrupting the upgrade, which it does every now and them with "Manual Settings" upgrades.
Here's an RM version:

Rob,
The RM file works fine and I converted it to my Atlas which also worked.
Glad to find out it wasn't me, I thought I was doing it the right way but after only a couple weeks doing this I was not positive.
I still haven't checked all the codes but all the ones I have checked work fine. It got hot and muggy today so the AC was running hard and I didn't want to stress it out by changing the settings too much.
Thanks again to you, Vicky and anyone else involved for doing this.
John
