Cool, what is on the battery compartment label?

Is it a learner? and is it really backlit? If so, it's the first black backlit Atlas we've seen.

Backlit, JP1.3, learner, Time warner, OCAP
Buttons are labelled a little different from the RDF. I will get to that later. I just this second downloaded to it. about to try it out!

Looks like we have some troubleshooting to do. Loaded my upgrade, and almost nothing transmits. Probably an rdf issue of some sort.
Has anyone successfully used this rdf with an ocap yet?
On my way to Houston for the weekend. More next week....

I have 7 OCAPS. 5 black non-learning non-backlit Time Warners and 2 silver learning backlit Sunflowers.

Both varieties work fine with the rdf I modified and use (and up loaded with a post and link several weeks ago). Coincidentally, I updated the zip file today, but the basci OCAP rdf has been there for a while. It is in the zip file with all of the renamed Atlas RDFs. (Be wary of the 30003000 and 30333033 extender rdfs as these are very early beta's)

And here are the pics.

As for button names, the only deviations from the basic UEIC labelling look to be (although blurry) that the F1 and F2 buttons are relabelled for this particular TWC Provider with Sports and Weather, presumably calling channel selection macros or some interactive feature for those topics. I would wager that when you downloaded from the remote (using the correct RDF), you found macros assigned to F1 and F2.

Not sure I like the orange color of the backlight.

It basically looks like the "original" Black remote with the button sheet from the Silver backlit one (and the stencils for the F1 and F2 buttons, of course).

Did a download on a virgin remote. Yes there are macros on all 3 function buttons leading to channels on the TWC cable system. There are 4 custom devices loaded, all cable boxes..

One data point. I can't seem to unlock the cable box selection. Do a 982, get 4 blinks, but it still won't take a change...
