OK, it's at https://www.hifi-remote.com/forums/dload ... e_id=13009

But if that isn't correct then we have to stop this. I obviously didn't make myself entirely clear on my previous post. It looks as though your device is uisng an IR Protocol and Device number that we don't know, but on occasions can 'mimic' the NEC protocol with a device of zero. Now this is probably the most common setup in the world, so you are going to find hundreds of different devices that 'partially' work with your box. If you genuinely were using the NEC protocol with a device of 0 then there are only 255 possible button codes available and we tested those right at the beginning with the dummy remotes and found that many functions were missing.

I can give you a list now of 20 devices that will 'partially' work with your device but at the moment you are just chasing shadows, The ONLY sure-fire way is for you to buy a used Hasrmony 659 off E-Bay and learn the codes so I can build you proper BIN file.

Thanks again. I have three HARMONY remotes:890,900 and 1100.Could any of these work for the purpose? I suppose I will need the Multitech original remote to be used in the IR learning commands, or it is not necessary? If needed, I have to get it from it is right now: overseas. Anyways, I have scheduled a trip over there in January coming back on March

Do any of them work with standalone software, or do you have to sync them with the web-based version ?

Unless you already have it one of the Harmonys you will need the original.

I have installed on my laptop the Logitech HARMONY remote software 7, which I use to update remotes through a cable. It looks like no web based.in the sense that I don't have to open web page every time an update is needed.

I upload on the 890 the device Signal HD-527

Hi Alan:
I loaded into your harmony account the remote for SIGNAL HD-527,which has all the learned IR commands that match with the Multitech DM-T2A.
I appreciate all your help in the creation of this remote for the Slingbox purpose. Thanks

OK, all done. https://www.hifi-remote.com/forums/dload ... e_id=13146

But there are some 'odd' things that need sorting.

I found a box that was very similar (Loranz LZ2911STB-USB) but the left/right arrows are reversed. Are yours correct ?

TV/Radio and TV/Video send the same code (25). Does it cycle through ?

Select/OK and Cancel send the same code (26) ?

Red & Device List send the same code (66). That might make sense but none of the other colour buttons have matching functions.

Menu & Last Channel send the same code (69), that can't be right

Goto, Program & USB all send the same code (81) ??

Power, Time Shift & Display all send the same code (89), that makes no sense.

Thank you very much. Excellent support. The remote is working 99.9%. In regards to the "odds" I can see:

1.- left/right arrows are reversed too in the new remote
2.- TV/Radio and TV/Video keep the cycle in the new remote
3.- Select/OK works properly. Although I do not have CANCEL the Exit/Return works as Cancel
4.- Menu/Last Channel work well.
5.- Device list is not featured in my device. However, Red works properly as well the other colors. Blue leads to program and GoTo. Yellow to screen size
6.- Power & Display work as Power and Info in the new remote.

There are 3 customs commands I added to the Harmony software: FAV, AUDIO and USB that I do not see in the new remote. The HDMI command I also could not identify in the new remote.

Thanks again

OK

1. Arrows reversed
2. I have removed the TV/Radio function
3. I have removed the Cancel function
4. ?? How can that happen ? Either it pulls up the Menu or it changes to the last Channel viewed, it can't do both.
5. Device List removed
6. Display removed.

Apart from the USB, those functions were there in the Custom buttons. Did you not find them ? (I hope you read the README file?) USB now added.

Thanks a million. The new remote is fully operational now.
You are right I did not check the README file, but now I see everything included.
In regard to the menu/last channel you are right: they are making the same function: lead to MENU. So, I do not know if possible to define the function for last channel as is: LAST CHANNEL?
Finally, just for the purpose of identification in the Slingbox database this remote could be added under the brand MULTITECH DM-T2A DVB-T2 too?

I don't have a separate 'Last Channel' function. If you have one can you add it to the Harmony ?

You misunderstand my role here. I have absolutely nothing to do with Sling. I build these Custom Remotes for people with unsupported boxes because Sling take months to add a new box and I feel sorry for the users stuck with an unusable Slingbox. I doubt this will ever get added to the official database. But I have uploaded it to the File Section here and, as you suggested, also uploaded under the Multitech name too.

Thanks again. I have been working on the skin of the remote following the instructions to replacement of the basic remote. I found this very interesting. So, I went back to the original remote in order to reproduce the most possible commands on the new skin. The C10, C11....C18 keys are very helpful in this purpose. However, the customs functions defined for the basic remote go from C10 to C27 and in the replacement remote they go from C10 to C18.
I would like to ask you, if possible, a reorder of the C commands of the remote thus:

CURRENT DISTRIBUTION PROPOSED DISTRIBUTION

Custom 10: List Audio
Custom 11: Favourites TV/Video
Custom 12: Frame Advance USB
Custom 13: Audio HDMI
Custom 14: Subtitle Favorites
Custom 15: Language Teletext
Custom 16: Repeat Subtitle
Custom 17: USB Language
Custom 18: Time Shift Auto
Custom 19: Teletext Frame advance
Custom 20: TV/Video List
Custom 21: HDMI Repeat
Custom 27: Auto Time shift

With this proposed distribution all the commands from the original remote could be reproduced in the skin of the replacement.

In regard to the function LAST CHANNEL, this is not featured in the original remote. So, in the practice is not needed.

In addition, I noticed the functions PAGE DOWN/PAGE UP are learned in the Harmony, but in the basic remote they are inactive. Because in the original remote they are featured, could you please help me activate them?

Thanks

Sorry in the distribution list it must be considered a space between functions, which makes the distinction among CURRENT and PROPOSED where current are the in the first column.
