Performed a detailed test on the latest file and it's now very close to complete.

All the DVR functions work correctly as does channel up/down; brilliant :)

There are a few functions still not working as detailed fully in the spreadsheet sent to Al; specifically "Options", "DSTV" and Volume up/down.....

So we are very close indeed to a fully functional Explora remote!

Thanks guys; Cheers. ZAGooner.

More work and we have ONLY one button left unaccounted for. Incredibly the Help button uses a different protocol from all the other buttons. RM is decoding it as Nec2-f16 246.233. What on earth were Pace/DSTV thinking of ?

I'm hoping we can cope with this by just changing the Dev number ?

The ICT file with 3 learns of the button is at https://www.hifi-remote.com/forums/dload ... e_id=12367

Help :D

Again this is not a NEC signal, even though DecodeIR thinks it is. So far we have decodes of NEC 246, and NEC-f16 of 246.41, 246.201, and 246.233. Recall that NEC 246 is shorthand for NEC 246.9
These subdevices are quite related to each other, and this is seen easily by converting to hexadecimal numbers:
9 ---- 09 --->Dev=0
41 ---29 --->Dev=2
201--C9 --->Dev=12
233--E9 --->Dev=14

So the mistake is mine: I shouldn't have stripped the 9 from the definition of the device number, and then the subdevice given by DecodeIR could have been used directly. Anyway, use Dev=14 for 246.233
