The remote has UEI setup code numbers. It has 01423 which is a code that sends the Nec1 4 commands necessary to do the hack. But there is nothing in the manual showing if the remote supports sending EFCs from the keyboard or setting up keymoves. So bottom line is we don't know the capabilities of this remote. You can set the remote to 01423 and then send an EFC and see if the remote has the capability.

If so, let us know if it works.

Basically, vickyg2003 wonders if this may be a UEI remote disguised as a Sony remote. If this is the case then it may have undocumented functions. Try looking at a manual for a UEI remote - such as the URC-7555 - and substitute your "Set" button for its "Magic" button and see if you can get it to send EFC's or even - if you're very lucky - program codes to buttons.

Note that you have to assign a correct, working Setup Code to a Device Button (you'll see some basic functions like Power, channel changing etc. working) before you attempt to send the EFC codes. In this respect the Setup Code is like a language and the EFC is a word or a phrase in that language. No point in speaking the correct German work for "Service Menu" to a French remote, for instance.

Hello to everyone!

Let me tell you my problem...I got the LG LM7600 but I didn't know that was blocked the time machine option. I checked few info about how to unblocked this but I am not sure about is it possible with this model. I would like to try with a universal remote control to access to the EZ adjust but I don't know which one works fine with this tv. Would be great if you can suggest me one from radioshack to buy it and then return it if doesn't work. Thank you for being there!
