ok managed to get the complete upgrade into my remote, this is my results, the remote allowed my to put all the codes in now comfirmed with 2 flashes from remote.

sky digibox code 1847 none working with my uk sky box
sagem hdd50g4 codes 0838, 1313, 1321 , 0830 none working with my tv

pacific 5.1 surround 1601 limited working, power and vol+ - work
panasonic dvdrw code1490 works fine
xbox 360 code 2000 works fine

so some very good results if i could get my sky and sagem hdd50g4 working i would be over the moon, thanks so far for the upgrade.

 :? VERY surprising, since the Sky box upgrades are VERY common and widely used. I have both a Sky and Sky+ box and the upgrade works there (different device numbers, but all other parameters are the same). This works across the various manufacturers (Pace, Thomson, and Amstrad).

  Unfortunately, I have no idea what to suggest here, other than to keep on trying. Those four upgrades came from OFA-Europe via a wav file for the URC-8206 Kameleon. Now there were some challenges converting them, especially the 1313 and 1321 which use a protocol executor (00 65) that is either Emerson 4-dev combo or Emerson 3-dev combo, so I may have screwed up tha conversion, but a smarter guy than I would have to help you sort that.

If you have PARTIAL functionality, you at least know that the protocol and device are correct. :D Now you can go into the device upgrade in RM and try assigning OBCs other than the ones used in the functions therein to find ones that will work.

Easter is nigh, and I will likely be short of time for the next 10 days or so, but hopefully you are working up your proficiency with the tools (RM and IR) and should be able to start manipulating some of these upgrades yourself.

Your best bet is to get a JP1 cable (make sure you build/buy the right cable - JP1 and NOT JP1.x!) and then at least you can LEARN the signals that aren't working and decode them to create your own upgrades.

I took a closer look at that Sky upgrade, and it uses a manual settings protocol, so I located another upgrade that uses the RC-6-M-20n protocol. Here's the package updated with a different Sky upgrade. See if that works any better for you.

As for the TV, you have a LOT of learning memory, so perhaps you can live with learned signals for now.

Quality mate my sky now fully working with that upgrade, im well impressed, thanks a lot for spending the time in sorting us out, if i ever find a code for any kameleon remote that works my model of sagem i will be tempted to have a lot more play, but like you say i can learn the the tv into the 9960 memory, i started off with a completely useless remote that would not work with anything in my living room, now im able to use it to its full capabilities, im also on the look out for a jp1 wiring diagram cos i need a lead to play more, and if i can fit a mod chip to ps1 ps2 xbox game cube im sure i can solder a 6 wire lead togeather and solder a header onto the remote, anyway thanks again and have a good holiday, ive just spent all day and now have my gearbox out of my car lol that was fun.
