You want KM 8.40, not 8.4, and ALL of the newest verions of JP1 software are always available (or linked to) in the File->Tools->Main section.
(See the File section link at the top of this page)

Here's an updated upgrade. I've also updated the KM file, so you should re-download that.
Upgrade Code 0 = 2F D0 (DVD/2000) Samsung DVD HR725 (KM v8.40)
5C 00 BE FE FE FD 00 80 00 00 01 81 41 C1 21 A1
61 E1 11 91 A3 63 89 05 05 39 79 45 43 D1 E9 19
59 99 25 D9 62 95 C9 29 A9 23 31 F1 85 F9
End
You didn't mention what the L4 button from the Sam1 file really is (OBC 144). The INPUT button that you learned doesn't appear to be the same protocol as the other buttons. This could be because of a bad learn or it could really be the case, so I would need to see several samples of this one button to be sure. If it does turn out to be a different protocol, maybe you should just learn this one button.

Thanks Capn tripps. I did glance at that file but assumed it was an old one because of the 2005 date.
Robman, I have submitted several examples of the input button now. And thank you very much for your time.

That's better, the OBC is 223. You still haven't said what the L4 button is (from sam1) which uses OBC 144.

TBH, I really dont know. I'm scratching my head and have looked though all my notes. When I use the signal the unit recognizes it but a red circle with a line accross it comes up on the TV to warn me I'm in the wrong mode to use it. Soon as I find out I'll let ya know.
Thanks for your patience.

Ok, its the CM skip button and I forgot it as I had tried to learn it to the remotes com skip. Is there anyway to map it to the equivalent?
Anyway, many thanks for all the help.

Unfortunately, the only way you can program the URC-8910's COMM-SKIP button is to install the extender.
I've updated the KM file...
