Is it possible to bundle ExtInstall with IR 5.03? You could create a folder Named RDF and put it in, so extracting IR into a folder would put IR in base path and create an RDF folder with ExtInstall inside. This might entice ppl to put their RDF there in the first place, too.
Why? Because it would make experts' life easier...
Newbie: Ok, I need this "ExtInstall"; where do I find it?
Expert: You dl it from Yahoo! Groups
Newbie: Where do I put it?
Expert: Inside the folder you have your RDFs in
...
...
...

Damn. Too long in the user support business... :(

yeah, one more thing - if you do it the way I suggested, the default path for RDF files should be BasePath\RDF. If users will put their RDF files there (as expected), everything will work out-of-the-box.
I am planning on finding a free Installer Program (like WinAMP Installer) and experimenting with it. Paul, do you have a list of registry keys IR uses?
