As a a reminder, one also has to make sure that the TV is itself in a suitable operating mode. A trivial example is that the TV must be on in order to respond to discrete off. For other functions, you may need to guess how the TV designers set up the user interface. Perhaps you'll need to try each signal in more than one operating mode.

Right, I've written two device upgrades so far...
I'm really sorry and I massively appreciate all the help you've given me but I don't know if spending time double checking OBC codes for a well documented make is going to be much of a contribution?
The discrete on/off codes are the same for all samsungs and any others I wanted were on remote central and from the other samsung device upgrades. I'll keep going for now but I'm struggling to see the value

Is this helpful?

I agree, no point. Samsung codes are already well known. You've already confirmed the ones you need don't work on your model.

I'm not at all the type of person just to take, take, take and I know I've had a lot of support and peoples' time on this forum. I'd be more than happy to contribute back, it just doesn't seem like this is a useful contribution.

My thread in the beginner's section has had 3700 views so that must have helped others at least

One way every one can help is to create upgrades for all oddball pieces or brand new pieces of equipment that come your way, and then just submit them to the file section.
Another way to help is to become a helper on the forum, read the wiki and contribute there.

Ok thanks, I'm not sure I'm ready to be a helper but I'll contribute to threads in the beginners section where I can

Just got a new Samsung 55TU8300, got your master list, ran through the OBCs, found the following:
Samsung TV+ 180
Globoplay 191
OBC 89 brings up the Accessibility menu, but so does CC. I suspect it is actually Voice Guide (reads the menus aloud).
You have OBC 209 labeled as Bluetooth Scan, it operates as Pair Remote.

177 displays "App not available in your country or has been discontinued." I haven't been able to tell what it is/was.
I've discovered that Home is missing, which brings up the main operating menu (sources, apps etc.), and is needed fairly badly. Will let you know if I find it.

Some of these are tough to figure out.
185 is the Play/Pause key from the new dinky remote, not the same behavior as the existing Play or Pause, which play or pause only instead of toggling. If you're watching something that's not streaming, it says Not Available, and I've had a few others that said that as well, so I will have to go back through them again.
You might want to give me a day or two to get these before updating again.
