Need help adding new codes to your Slingbox, this is the place to ask. You're welcome to ask general Slingbox questions here, but be aware that most of us are not Slingbox experts.
Sorry, no, I meant the real remote. I would need it to analyse the codes. That is why the Logitech Harmony would be useful, as if you can find one it is possible to program it to 'mimic' yours. I can then do the same on mine.
docdanz & engraylo,
If you really want to get this solved, one of you needs to mail your remote to Alan, then he can capture the signals from the remote and build a Slingbox bin file, then he will mail the remote back to you.
If you can't be without your original remote for any period of time, your next option is to buy a cheap learning remote and then capture the signals using that, then use the learning remote while Alan has your original remote.
Unfortunately for 'docdanz' I am back in the UK now so postage will be quite expensive.
But for 'engraylo', first you should NOT be using this thread, which has nothing to do with your box, you should have started a new thread. However, I have looked for you and although I could not find your device I did find an ABS-CBN TV-2000. That appears to use the same codes as the TransVideo DMD 200. So I suggest you try that remote. It is at https://www.hifi-remote.com/forums/dload ... le_id=6399
The instructions are out-of-date so use these instead:
OK, better advice for both of them, buy the cheap learning remote that I linked to in the last post and use it to capture the signals from your original remote, then use the included USB cable (along with JP1 software) to download the learned signals and post the file. Then we'll take it from there to create a bin file for you.
Rob www.hifi-remote.com Please don't PM me with remote questions, post them in the forums so all the experts can help!
OK, I am still waiting for you tell me the result of trying the Transvideo DM 200 Custom Remote ?
However, now you have said it is an ADTH device I checked again. Unfortunately no sign of this device but there are 2 Custom Remotes for ADTH IP boxes in the File Section so try those as well. Again, use the newer instructions I linked to.
engraylo, Alan is in the UK and I'm guessing that you're in Singapore, so sending remotes and/or units back and forth could prove to be quite expensive. A much better idea would be for you to spend $17 to buy a Nevo C2 remote (link below) and then use it to learn the signals from your original remote. Once you have done that, you can post the resulting file for us and we'll do the rest.
No, it has still not appeared on the Logitech IR Database. So we are waiting for someone to buy a Nevo C2 learning remote so we can check the codes. So far no-one seems that bothered.
