Note that the post was edited-- I think it first said some thing like white light was seen.

@rob after alanrichey gave the instruction on how to install bin files i was able to see light blink while at test at sling configuration of input, but after he said that he does not have any more idea, i tried it again and again hoping it will work i noticed that there were no light on ir during test.

i really dont know the answer, because when i switch to my other input(comcast cable box) the ir is working fine, i can control my comcast box, but if i switch to alanta dth ip8950mt box, i dont get any response at all

If ity works with the Comcast then the IR Blaster is firing. I'm afraid it makes no sense if it doesn't work with the Atlanta. I have never heard of this happening before. No ideas I'm afraid.
