I can only assume that you are connecting your Windows computer (assumed this because of the word "desktop") to your HDTV (assumed this because of 16 x 9) via HDMI cable (no basis for this other than it is the best way). If this is true, then you want to set the TV to a zoom that is something like "just scan" or "Full HD" or something like that. This avoids the overscan that is chopping off parts of the picture.Now if I could only figure out how to allways have 16 X 9. on my desktop so I could have a full screen and a toolbar. (I can only see the small section of my toolbar I will post a screen shot of the desk top) I have to set the DT to wide fit as I also have the TV screen size set to wide fit.
