I'm not aware of there being one, but I have been tempted to see if I could write one myself.yaworski wrote:Rob, isn't there some phpBB feature or plugin that would disallow putting URLs into subject field? Most spam messages on the forum have a link in the subject.

One thing for sure, when you see the link in the topic, its easier to find and delete the spam. Otherwise I have to take the time to actually open the post and read it to see if it is spam. Its been so quiet lately, I only found 3 over the last 5 days. I guess spammers take a holiday too.The Robman wrote:I'm not aware of there being one, but I have been tempted to see if I could write one myself.yaworski wrote:Rob, isn't there some phpBB feature or plugin that would disallow putting URLs into subject field? Remember to provide feedback to let us know how the problem was solved and share your upgrades.
Tip: When creating an upgrade, always include ALL functions from the oem remote, even if you never plan on assigning them to a button. Complete function lists makes an upgrade more helpful to others.

12 posts today, all withing 1 minut of each other, bringing nothing to the threads but meaningless single sentence. Stinks of a bot. Maybe building up the post count before spamming some links?

Thanks Marcin, but as soon as I log on, if I see spam I will delete it. Vicky does too.
