Well, I'll need to use JP1 again tomorrow (snow permitting) as my recently-bought LG DVD player is going back to the store on account of it failing to open and release my (rented, of course, and due back) DVD. I think I'll get a Philips as I already have an upgrade for that and the Philips DVD recorder I bought ages ago is still going strong despite years of abuse.
