Using the quote symbol on Apple devices

I usually enter text in Word and then to prevent funny things I copy the text to notepad.
Notepad converts to plaintext.
Then I copy from notepad and paste to the web form.
My guess is I forgot to copy in the notepad window before doing the paste.

Ah yes, Word was the original culprit for those, but then the Apple folks started getting them too. Yeah, don't write posts in Word first as it will mess up all of the quote symbols. Write them in Notepad first, if you don't want to write them directly in the forum.
