TacT amplifier - Help converting pronto codes

OK, you have empirically found out (thanx to Rob) that you want to use NEC2 type signals. You can do the following:
Import the MKII remote of the original CCF file with IrScrutinizer, as parametrized (not raw). In the Scrutinize Remote/Parametric remote pane manually change the protocol to NEC2 (Right mouse -> Advanced -> Set protocol...). Fix the MAX VOLU command by filling in Rob's parameters. Then go to the export pane. There are four different Arduino apps that IrScrutinizer presently supports: irplus, AnyMote, HomeRemote, and Unified Remote. I have used irplus myself, it supports Samsungs with integrated IR sender, and the author is helpful (I have been in contact with him). The ad-version is free of charge, (but "closed source"). Select the desired export format and press "Export param. remote". Transfer the generated file to ... ... etc.

Cool, now just to be clear, when you say "new codes", do you mean the original NEC1 codes that I posted here or the NEC2 codes that I posted here? Also, what about MAX VOL, did that one work?daws0n wrote:Those new codes are working well Rob, thank you very much! I can now hold down the volume - / + to adjust accordingly - you've been a great help

I haven't needed to try the NEC2 codes, the original ones you posted work just fine (including MAX VOL)
Is there any advantage to using the NEC2 codes instead?

Ok,cool, I think Barf thought you meant the NEC2 codes were the ones that worked.
So, how do you feel about searching for hidden discrete codes?
