I'm seeing some keymoves too.
There may be something more going on here. I'm using RMIR 2.07 build 3. Back in November someone was having trouble with one of my extenders, and when eyeballing it, all looked good, but it wouldn't work as advertised.
When I finally got my hands on a remote I tried to start a simple test, and found that RMIR 2.07 build 2 was messing up my extender beyond all recognition.
I couldn't open the base file, I couldn't merge the hex......
Mathdon looked into my issue and built build 3 which is what i'm working with.
More help with RCA RCRP05B extender V1.05

Hmmm.
When I look at Alkap's original file, I do see key moves, but they're all associated with device upgrades. They didn't seem noteworthy to me.
I just looked at the file I posted a couple days ago to add the "color button" macros, and I noticed immediately that there is a "Fixed Data Mismatch", because I selected the wrong remote when I built that file. I suspect that the file I posted is unlikely to work. (Sorry about that, Alkap.)
I then opened the original file with the correct rdf and re-did the color button macros. Those macros involve assigning the color "functions" of the TV device to shifted color "buttons" on the remote, then building global macros on the (unshifted) color buttons of the remote that invoke the TV's color functions. I just uploaded that corrected file, and it is here: http://www.hifi-remote.com/forums/dload ... e_id=25487 I hope that works for Alkap.
I noticed something strange about the file I posted, and it's probably due to my amateur status. When I look at the keymoves associated with the changes I made, they don't make sense. For example, in the device upgrade for the TV, I assigned the red color function to the shifted red remote button. When I look at how RMIR accounted for that keymove by clicking the keymove tab, it shows that I assigned the TV function "play" to the red remote button. That doesn't make sense to me, but maybe that's just how the extender works?
Looking forward to hearing from Alkap. In the meantime, Merry Christmas all!
