I get an error when I try to open this file using RMIR, so I took a look at the raw file and it doesn't look like you've added any learned signals to it. Have you connected the remote to http://ez-rc.com yet?
Assuming that you haven't really done anything yet, the first step is to connect to http://ez-rc.com and allow the web site to update the remote's firmware. You could, just for fun, see if they already have a code for your device, but assuming they don't, the next step is to use the Nevo to learn all the buttons from the original remote, then save that RMIR file as that's the one we will need to build you a new Slingbox file.
Btw, we will need the make and model of this device in order to create the file.

Doesn't he need to use ez-rc to upgrade the firmware before the remote will work properly with RMIR? Did you try downloading and opening his RMIR file Dave, and if so, did you get errors too?

By "uploading" do you mean you used the Nova to "learn" the signals from the original remote? If so, what that before or after you downloaded the memory using RMIR?The Boss wrote:Also just to update you all i am able to control the box using the Nova C2 after uploading the signals from my original remote.

Yes, but the only problem with the old firmware is that you can't get rid of the assist buttons. Everything else in RMIR should work on the old firmware. The Robman wrote:Doesn't he need to use ez-rc to upgrade the firmware before the remote will work properly with RMIR? Boss,
With Win 10, you must run ez-rc in IE compatibility mode, not Edge. When you run what you think is IE, it's actually "Edge", which is completely different. And you must do the registry fix below:

You should probably read this section as well:

FWIW, using IE mode and the registry fixes above, I have no issues with Nevo remotes on many Win 10 computers.
