Need a LOT more information than that if you want us to help

1. Have you tried the 2 Triax remotes in the File Section ?
2. Have you tried all the Triax selections in the Slingbox setup ?

on further consideration after failing with the code you suggest ,
ive a slingbox solo and it seems that as my triax is a hd. set i will equally have to upgrade the slingbox to a hd model...

Totally irrelevant. If it doesn't work on a Solo it won't work on the Pro-HD. Don't waste your money.

And please go back and check the README files and give me a proper answer, instead of '...failing...'

sling solo codes

Post by mickodwyer »

thanks and i appreciate straight talking

PRESENT STATE:
i have a grundig slingbox receiver with dish etc poin ting to astra 28. and getiing my 120 free channels etc . its fta and i pay murdock nothing.

connected i am to a sling box solo and modem and i receive said channels outside the country
all works well .....

PROBLEM.
IRISH TV CHANNELS ARE NOT INCLUDED ON THAT LIST, BECAUSE UNTIL SOME MONTHS AGO WE WERE TERRESTRIAL TV ONLY,AND NON DIGITAL.

SOLUTION.

ireland is now gone digital in the last few months

there are boxes available to convert the old terrestrial aerials to digital hd reception.
fine...

TRIAX HAVE COME UP WITH A COMBI BOX......ie combines and converts the terrestrial signal to digital and combines this into a satellite receiver as well.

this is my solution...i thought..so ..

IN MY CASE.....this triax receiver converts the terrestrials channels perfectly .... but SLINGBOX SOLO failS to get codes for it... i have read your documentation......got those downloaded code files into the folder for SLINGBOX setup to dig them out...
no joy...!! i use the code for example V2010 and STANDALONE DVR as device

that is the state of play .. thanks michael

Good, now we at least know the problem is with the code itself.

I couldn't track down the 537 but I found the 527.

Any good ?

THE 537 IS THE COMBI MODEL TERRESTRIAL CONVERTING AND SATELLITE COMBINER...
NO LUCK ... I HAVE WRITTEN TO TRIAX SUPPRT FOR THEM TO TELL ME EXAXCTLY WHERE THE IR SENSOR IS GEOGHAPHICALLY LOCATED

THANKS MICHAEL
