5. Do you have a JP1 cable? No
6. Still have original remote? Yes
7. Checked the file section? Yes
8. Checked Pronto file section (at R/C)? Yes
9. Partially working setup code? No
10. Learning remote question? N/A
11. Have you tried the JP1 Lookup Tool? Yes - not found

Hi afmathieson, welcome to our board. The Motorola VIP 1200 uses a Nokia32 protocol. I'm afraid that the 15-2138 doesn't have a Nokia32 signal built in. You've said N/A to learning remote, why is that?

Many of the Kameleons are WAV upgradable, I believe the 2138 is one of them. So you can create a WAV with the Motorola upgrade from our file section, or you can learn from the OEM.

If you create a WAV file, you'll need to include any upgrades that you had from other WAV files. Its best to create a WAV file of the upgrade area.

Tip: When creating an upgrade, always include ALL functions from the oem remote, even if you never plan on assigning them to a button. Complete function lists makes an upgrade more helpful to others.
