the new All for one?
anyone have any info on the new All For One smart control remote?
Really? Have we given up? Maybe I haven't noticed some efforts, but it seems to me that a lot of work has been put into just one example of the OARI06G, and it didn't communicate. Does that mean the OARI06G is designed to foil us, or perhaps a particular one doesn't work?
At this point we do know that it responds to a large set of 9XX commands with responses that act just like JP1.3 remotes. We also know that one other remote (the URC-3920) which is labeled JP1.4 does communicate.

Didn't want to rehash the existing threads in this new one, so forgive the terse response. But you're right, a lot of effort has gone into making it work. I didn't mean to imply otherwise, just that there were no communication breakthroughs and we're pretty much stumped at the moment. And by "we", I mean the real experts in the JP1 community doing all the hard work behind the scenes.
