(I've created a thread for this because it's better to let everyone have the opportunity to input, and share the benefit of anything we discover.)
From a Personal Message:
Hello Jim
I am the guy from Greece that you helped me a lot with the Pirelli STB and the samsung DVD.
I bought recently the Nortek Media Player HDBOX R1 HDMI/Lan TV Record - Set Multimedia (hdbox-r1) and unfortunatelly i am again unlucky finding a slingbox remote file.
I kindly ask you if you can find smthng in he Harmony database you have..
Waiting your answer...
Thanks in advance

Ok, first of all - Harmony does not have the Nortek Media Player HDBOX R1 HDMI (in fact it doesn't have anything for manufacturer Nortek)
However, this post elsewhere:
http://emtec.mhdworld.com/modules/newbb/viewtopic.php?topic_id=2669
indicates that the unit might be a "clone" of an Emtec MovieCube R700.
That unit is available from Harmony, and I'll download that, and post a file you can try in a couple of hours...
There is absolutely no guarantee this will work, even if the units are clones, manufacturers often use different remote control codes in firmware for different versions of this type of media player - that's been my experience with similar clones using the (related) Realtek 1073 chipsets anyway. This Emtec one is Realtek RTD1261 or RTD1262.
But it will, at least, be something to try, and you could get "lucky"...

Hello Jim
Sorry for my late response but i was away and i couldnt test the files you posted.
But i tested now and i am pleased to say that you guessed right about the chip cpmpatibility !!!
the remote file seems to work perfect at least in the basic fuctions i tested... and i guess to all the others...
Thanks a lot my friend (let me call you so...). Its nice to know that there is always someone out there ready to help you.
