There is a link in the files section for a DVD player that may be similar to yours:
http://www.hifi-remote.com/forums/dload ... le_id=1699
Nothing in there for your SAT receiver though.

I added our Search Template to your first post...
I generally prefer RM for day to day use...
Then read these - even without an interface cable, this is a good explanation of how all the various programs and files work together, and what the terminology used here means:
Wiki - JP1 - Just how easy is it? - RM-IR version
or
Wiki - JP1 - Just how easy is it? - KM version
To create wav files, you also need IRtoWav installed, from: http://www.hifi-remote.com/forums/dload ... le_id=2051
To actually make the wav files, you have to open the text file you downloaded (It's a KM upgrade) in RM or KM, paste the output from that into a new device in a new IR.exe file for your model remote, then export Upgrades as a wav.
__________________________________________________________
But, here, while you take the time to learn what all that means, I did it for you
For the satellite, I found Octagon SF-1008
I created a rmdu file here: http://www.hifi-remote.com/forums/dload ... le_id=9518
I created a .wav file here: http://www.hifi-remote.com/forums/dload ... le_id=9516
(After you've loaded that wav file into your remote (follow the manual), the Octagon should be available as SAT-2012)
For the DVD, closest I could find was BBK DK1410SI - slightly different model number - so this one may not work, but is worth trying
I created a rmdu file here: http://www.hifi-remote.com/forums/dload ... le_id=9517
I created a .wav file here: http://www.hifi-remote.com/forums/dload ... le_id=9515
(After you've loaded that wav file, the BBK should be available as DVD-2013)
(Note here that I could have included both of these in one wav file for you, but kept them separate for other users, or indeed you, in case only one device is needed)
If you don't have all the keys you'd like defined after loading the wav files, then open the rmdu files using RemoteMaster, to get the EFCs you need - then create your own keymoves as necessary, see: Manually create EFC keymoves for URC9960
All of the functions for the devices are contained in the rmdu files, so you would just use the EFCs from those files to create keymoves for any keys you need.
Please don't forget to let us know if it all works out ok, or, if not, where you get a problem.
edit: Corrected error in device code...
First you need to download and install IR.exe, RDF files, images and maps, and RM or KM - RM is an alternative to KM which many users find easier.denis_naum wrote:I download this file (TXT), and what I must do next to convert TXT-file in WAV-file?

It's much better if you just post any questions here in the thread. That way everyone benefits:denis_naum wrote:I will try to update the control now. If I have still questions may I will send you the private message?
- 1. You can get help from lots of other people if I'm not around, or if I don't know the answer.
2. Future users can find out how to solve similar problems just by searching here.

So if it will be better, I will write here.
I have one news good, and the second bad.
1. Updating for work with Octagon SF-1008 works very well.
2. Updating for BBK DK1410SI doesn't work completely.
I came on official site BBK the remote from model 1910 approaches to 1410 and on the contrary. It is necessary to search where an error, but I do not know from what to begin searches...

So - are you saying some buttons work, and some don't?denis_naum wrote:2. Updating for BBK DK1410SI doesn't work completely.
Or do they all do unexpected things?
Try and describe the "partial success" a bit more, and it will be easier to suggest what you can try next.
If some buttons work, tell us which do, and which don't.
If most buttons work, it might be easy to find the missing ones.
If they are all wrong then we need to try something else.
I don't entirely follow that comment (probably a language thing) - maybe if you give a link to this information you found on the website it would help if we could take a look.I came on official site BBK the remote from model 1910 approaches to 1410 and on the contrary. Also ... The 1410 I uploaded uses NEC1, Device 7, blank SubDevice
Your remote control has built in setup code DVD/0815 which uses the same protocol/device.
It's worth trying that to see if any of the buttons in that work at all...

P.S.: Sorry, my english realy very bad
2.
site BBK.ru have on-line support, and I with them spoke. They have told that remote RC073-01R is the original remote for models 1910 and 1410.jimdunn wrote: I don't entirely follow that comment (probably a language thing) - maybe if you give a link to this information you found on the website it would help if we could take a look.

Isn't language wonderful...
Ok - that seems to be saying it should have worked...denis_naum wrote:They have told that remote RC073-01R is the original remote for models 1910 and 1410.
I'll check what I did to see if I made any errors - it's possible I did.

Ok - I downloaded the Harmony data and learnt it again.
I can't see any errors I made in the rmdu file.
In case I made any mistakes creating the .wav file, I generated another one - the new one is in the same place: http://www.hifi-remote.com/forums/dload ... le_id=9515
using DVD/2013

I think he's using the wav files I created (unless I've misinterpreted)mdavej wrote:Jim,
That upgrade has a lot of key moves which take up half the total key move space in that model remote. Maybe the OP is simply out of key move space. You could try a version with no key moves to see if it works at all.
I used File-Export to Wav-Upgrades in IR - I thought that wouldn't include the keymoves, because once pasted into IR they aren't directly associated with the upgrade any more ?
If I'm wrong there, which is possible since I haven't used the IRtoWav feature much, then that's certainly worth a try.
edit: I just checked, and the wav files IR generates are the same size whether IR contains the 'associated' keymoves or not, and:
Code: Select all
C:\Documents and Settings\Jim Dunn\desktop>fc withkm.wav nokm.wav
Comparing files withkm.wav and NOKM.WAV
FC: no differences encounteredUnless -
@denis_naum, could you confirm that you used the wav files I created, and that you didn't create your own?
Jim,
I used WaveReadr to look at the contents of your second wav file. (Copy from Copy_Paste tab into RM\Advanced\Import Raw Upgrade--make sure the remote is set to 9960 before pasting in.)
It shows NEC 1 device 7. There are no keymoves. Example functions:
