Rosewill RRC-127 media center remote

2. Type of device: Widows Media Center remote
3. Year: 2010?
4. JP1/UEI Remote model: Atlas OCAP 1056
5. Do you have a JP1 cable? Yes
6. Still have original remote? Yes
7. Checked the file section? Have tried several
8. Checked Pronto file section (at R/C)? Yes
9. Partially working setup code? 1272 works on a 10820N doesn’t work on the Atlas
10. Learning remote question? No?
11. Have you tried the JP1 Lookup Tool? Yes

This is one of the upgrades I tried

This is a Windows 7 and Windows Vista certified remote that I am using with Windows 7 professional 64 bit. It came with a USB receiver.

Have you tried video/1972 in the OCap? Its very similar to the Cable/1272.

Also on the upgrade you tried, you might want to use the built in MCE code instead of the one where you need to add the upgrade..
Remember to provide feedback to let us know how the problem was solved and share your upgrades.

Tip: When creating an upgrade, always include ALL functions from the oem remote, even if you never plan on assigning them to a button. Complete function lists makes an upgrade more helpful to others.

On TV built in 1972 most of the keys don’t send anything

I don’t understand what you are asking me to do below

Also on the upgrade you tried, you might want to use the built in MCE code instead of the one where you need to add the upgrade..

If you go to the protocol dropdown, just select the other MCE. You're upgrade is using a different MCE version that's not built into the remote.

The upgrade is working now. :) I was using RM 1.99 and only one MCE protocol was displayed. I upgraded to RM 2.0 and the latest RDF and image files. With 2.0 MCE appeared twice so I selected the first one and the upgrade is working.
