My Bose control is a UEIC # 401RRC - 034A05E

Does that mean anything. No 6 pin connector anywhere or any other connector. But it's a very nice layed out control.

URIC is The name of the company that makes all of the JP1 remotes, however just because they made i t does not mean that it is JP1

Yes my Comcast DTA remote from UEI is not jp1 and has none of the features like Keymoves or sending EFC's that make UEI remotes so popular.

I do have some old uei non-jp1 remotes that do use EFC's and keymoves, but many UEI remotes have nothing.
