hiding the slingbox remote menu

I downloaded and then modified the toshiba d-tr1 skin images and associated xml file, and everything works great. BUT, I want the remote to appear without the slingbox remote menu on top and logo on the bottom. Is there any way to hide these things since they take up so much screen space?

What version of Slingplayer are you using ? I thought these disappeared with V2.0 (PC)

Thanks; your reply prompted me to load the original skin again and to my surprise it didn't have the menu and logo. It turned out that my modified remote.png's format was different from the original. After trying several things, I've somehow fixed the problem. I'm not sure but I think the trick was to save the remote.png with transparency option enabled. After I did that the menus and logo went away.
