There was no equivalent function in the database I used.

If you can go to http://remotes.slingbox.com and create a remote with just learning that button from your original remote, export the remote and send me the myRemote.lrz file I can add it to the Custom one.

Got the file, not many buttons were readable but luckily the 'Jump' was so I have the code.

What button do you want it mapped to ?

And do you want any other functions mapped to the colour buttons ?

Ahhhh! Awesome! Thanks so much and sorry for the delayed response.
I think the mistake a lot of us make is thinking the state-appointed shrink is our friend.

Isn't there a jump button on the DVR section of the slingbox? The button that I really want mapped is the quick skip button. Were you able to see it?

Thank you,

No, there are Skip+ & Skip- (Next/Previous Chapter) and they are mapped to those functions. This 'Jump' or 'Quick Skip' is a different function. Or so I assume, as I have never seen this device.

What does it do differently compared with the Skip + button ?

This is the button I am trying to get into the remote.
Image During playback it skips the recorded program forward by 30 seconds. Is the skip forward button mapped in the bin file?[/img]

Shay, thanks for posting the picture, I think that may have helped. Alan has recorded a "next" and "back" function from the Harmony database, and he logically them on the page+ and page- buttons. On your picture I see "back" but I don't see a "next" button on your remote, so I'm guessing that the "next" button is really the little "->|" button.

Tip: When creating an upgrade, always include ALL functions from the oem remote, even if you never plan on assigning them to a button. Complete function lists makes an upgrade more helpful to others.

You're welcome. I think they are mapped from the these buttons

The replay button should be mapped to the button to the left of the record button on the slingbox remote which is called the skip back. Thanks again for everyone's help.

If page up and page down are the functioning for track skipping, then are the functions on the skip- and skip+ doing the "replay" and "quick skip" functions?

Are you asking about Alan's bin file, or the I one I created through remotes.slingmedia.com.

Oh sorry, I was asking about Alan's bin. I'm not a slingbox person, I'm a JP1/protocol person.

There isn't a chapter skip on the moxi. The forward and next buttons are used to page through message pages.
