Tommy's instructions to open 6131 are about 6131n, new, square-corners one.
Are there instructions about 6131o, old, non-rectangular, anywhere? Is it as rough as the n?

The N model is completely different, the standard version opens just like any other remote. Get a small screwdriver and pop open a corner near the bottom of the remote, then use an old credit card or a plastic putty knife to open the rest of it, by dragging it around the opening.

It was VERY difficult to open. Even rougher than 8910. Going around the corner had me give up few times, but I did get it opened. It's different than 8910, no plastic sheet, and all the traces are different. Look more resilient to wiping clean. It had a bath and can hang. Thank you!

I guess it's all a question of practice, because given that I've soldered up literally hundreds, maybe even thousands, of 6131 remotes, I can pop them open in about 10 seconds.
