I-Link 9000 Code for use on Slingbox Solo

Post by patdescon »

I am having problem setting up my I-link 9000 to my Slingbox Solo. Sling media do not provide i-link as an option on set up. The main issue is the IR remote control feature. Any advice ? Thanks in advance !

Hi Al
Thanks for customizing the remote. Excuse my lack of knowledge - after I download and unzip the file on my desktop where and how do I load it ?
Please forgive my ignorance and thanks again for all your efforts.

Are you looking for additional guidance over what has already been written up in the one sticky thread at the top of this forum, or have you not read that thread?

More importantly, have you read the README file that was in the ZIP ? That has extensive instructions on what to do.

Will do - thanks guys.
Al, I am away from my home for the next week and will be unable to test until my return - will report then.

OK, although remember you don't need to be at home to do it. You can install Custom Remotes remotely, I do it all the time. All you need is a laptop.

Al, I attached my slingbox solo to my DN receiver before leaving so I would be unable to test with the I-Link.

You obviously have a completely different definition of 'shortly' to me. I measure it in hours not weeks :D

And another 5 days go by. I think I will give up on this one, it is cluttering up my work folder.
