What is the device? Please provide the make and model number, and state what type of device it is.

I was going to ask for the device name too. I don't know how to read data expressed in that format yet, but it really doesn't appear to be RC5 to me.

RC5 is supposed to look like this
>(1:1,~F:1:6,T:1,D:5,F:6,^114m)

But the codes you provided look more like F:8,~F:8,D:8,~D8 to my untrained eye.

I agree with Vicky that those do not look like RC5.

The brand and model didn't tell me much. Maybe they tell Rob something.

If they don't, then we probably need the correct answer to the question for which "RC5" is the incorrect answer.

What else was in whatever document included that list of codes?

Here's the OEM page for the STB:
http://www.sysmaster.com/products/set_top_box_m55.php

I couldn't find any protocol info doing a search for the M55, so I took another look at the posted codes and made a wild guess that they are NEC1 device 0 codes, just presented backwards.

I have created a PL file based on that assumption:

Thank you for your effort

Unfortenately this bin file does not operate the box Sad

the Sysmaster support answered me this for the protocol

Dear Customer,

The protocol is called RC5.

More questions are welcome.

Best regards,
SysMaster Support

I found this website http://betaremotes.slingbox.com/ where you can make the slingbox to "learn" the remote and it works Smile

Now is more like to make it work old school way Wink

Just to let you know I have tried to install this device on my Harmony remote, but SysMaster is not a recognised manufacturer in their database.

Any idea if it might be a 'badged' box ?

Al
