I have an older jp1 parrallel cable i got from the robman years ago. My cat has chewed off the 6 pin plug.
Does anyone have one for sale or know where I could get one? Thanks.
Need the 6pin plug from older parrallel cable

To make those, I usually saw a chunk off the motherboard end of something such as an obsolete floppy or hard drive ribbon cable. I tend to have broken PC's too old to consider repairing lying around, so such parts are easy.
A salvaged one like that doesn't seem worth the trouble of mailing. Are you sure you don't have some similar obsolete cable lying around?

Where would they go if you have an older/different cable that was made using a cat5 style wire? I'm sure there is an old link/tutorial somewheremdavej wrote:Doesn't matter. Since they're in the right order on the ribbon cable, they'll be in the right place when you snap on the connector. All you have to do is line up pin 1 when you plug it in. If you guess wrong, just flip it around.

I have one of those cat5 styles.
Looks confusing considering 3 white wires but this is the sequence
orange,white,green,white,blue,white
I think that last blue, white wires are near pin1 but don't know for sure since my remotes don't show pin number, but I think the cutoff corner means pin1.
