Hi,
Got a question for the X-10 Gurus.... I work from home and out of necessity have had to drop our 2nd line. So now we have 1 line in the house.
We have 2 phones. 1 in my office and 1 in the kitchen.
My dilemma is that I need a way to remotely disable the phone so my wife does not accidentaly pick up when I am on a conference call.
My thought was to use a PUM01 (Universal X-10 Module) that I could run the phone line "through" before it got to the phone. That way I could send X-10 commands to the PUM01 to disconnect or connect the phone line (via that modules contact closure capability).
Will this work or does anyone know of a better solution.....
Thanks in advance for any advice.... |
