I happen to have an serial port infrared transmitter in my scrap heap (I made it years ago to test some LIRC work I was doing - http://www.lirc.org/images/simple_transmitter.gif ).
Is there software available that would allow me to use this transmitter to send codes from the remote definition files or other discrete codes around here?
That would be a really convenient way to teach my non-JP1 remote.
