Hi all !

My Remote control V3 URC-39730 B02 for dreambox DM7000 stop working OK ( it works the only key 0 and switches the audio OFF/ON and vicevesa )

NB. In TV mode still works well !

I don't know if it's my remote that is OFF or is my Dream that has problem.

I read a lot a thread but, up to now, I'm still in pain.

I'd like to use the ir.exe version 8.02 to load back ( upload to remote ) the remote-bakup.txt file but I don't have it ( of course I didn't download from the remote when the remote was OK )

My cable to connect the remote to the my PC is ready and up and running …

May someone kindly supply the original remote- backup.txt to upload to my remote ?

In alternative, may I reload the right code for dreambox ?

I means through the SHIFT procedure used to load TV code ?

If yes, which is the code that I have to enter ?

Please other suggestions are very welcome

Thanks a lot to all of You in advance

There is a Dreambox V3 IR file here that you can look at. It has a different setup code on the DREAM device button(SAT/1561) but you can delete that as well as the SAT/1561 device upgrade and the $0173 Protocol upgrade. Possible Dreambox setup device codes start at SAT/0030 and go to SAT/0034.

Now the remote works perfectly.

What remains is why the data in my remote were corrupted ( when i try to reload the original IR file downloaded by my remote I got: check sum error )

Any idea ?

Thanks again

The main zip file for RDFs is here which has the OUKAOUK1.RDF file. Your RDF seems to be missing the OEM device button.

IR.exe should fix any checksum errors before writing the .IR file to EEPROM. Perhaps you are having a writing error? Check for weak batteries. It takes more voltage to write than to read from EEPROM.

Thanks binky123

May be I explain bad my self.

Now the remote works OK

When I say:

"I try to reload the original IR file downloaded by my remote and I got: check sum error"

It means:

"I loaded from the remote to PC the IR file when the remote was wrong and than when I upload it back and I got: check sum error" ...

Anyway now the remote works very well, for me, still remains the question:

why my remote that has worked OK for years went in data corrupted conditions ?

Any idea ?

Thanks a lot again
