1. Device: Tivax STB-T8
2. Type of device: Digital over-the-air converter box
3. Year: 2008
4. JP1/UEI Remote model: Slingbox
5. Do you have a JP1 cable? No
6. Still have original remote? Yes
7. Checked the file section? Yes
8. Checked Pronto file section (at R/C)? Yes
9. Partially working setup code? No ; https://shop.tivax.com/faq/index.php?action=artikel&cat=2&id=19&artlang=en
10. Learning remote question? n/a
I would like to connect the Tivax with my Slingbox AV and attempted to use "Remote Master" with the remote codes (NEC standard) from Tivax's website (See link on #9 above) but didn't have luck. If anyone here happens to have Tivax remote code for Remote Master, please let me know so I can use Slingbox to control the Tivax STB-T8 box. Thanks in advance! |

Where did you look, because I found a Tivax file there where the codes exactly match the codes on the other page that you linked to:

Hello The Robman,
Arghh.. my bad and apologies for my eyesight. I must have overlooked for Tivax. Additionally I did a forum search for keyword 'tivax' to see if anyone posted a question before I posted my thread here but that didn't come up with any results. I thank you very...very very much for your help here. |

It's always a good idea to use the File Search link at the top of the page in addition to searching the forum because people only post questions when they have problems. If the user has a learning remote, they just learn the codes, create the upgrade and then (hopefully) post the upgrade file.
Please let us know if the upgrade works for you. _________________ Rob
