Hello:

I have an decoder Thomson for Tv Cabo (this http://www.tecforsis.pt/produto.asp?idproduto=18043) and yesterday, try to set up the remote (URC6025R01-03) with a DVD, I should have make a mistake and the decoder don't respond now with the remote.

I have tried to look for the code and even "blink out" the code but nothing works.

Somebody can help me?

Thanks.

This is just a guess, and I don't even know if the 6025 has this setup code, but try cable 0856.

Some Thomson Sky boxes respond to this.

I'm not familiar with the 6025, but but assuming it is like other URC- remotes.
1) press the device button labeled cable or sat. Other device buttons might be TV, DVD, VCD, Audio, etc.
2) press setup until it blinks twice
3) enter in 0856
You should get two blink if that is a valid setup code.

4) Try it and see if the box responds.

Some newer remotes need a 5 digit setup code. If the 6025 is like that, enter 00856 instead of 0856.

Try a code search:

1. DTV or STB whatever the device is called
2. press and hold SETUP for two blinks
3. enter 9 9 1
4. enter 2
5. point the remote at the STB and keep pressing & releasing CH UP, if and when the STB powers on
6. press SETUP to lock in code

Thanks but don't works neither.

I try too "blink out" the code (enter 990 (i can't remember) and then 1, 2, 3 and 4) for look how many times the light blink and the code is 0032....but don't works either.

I'm thinking in try with a One For All remote, if not work that..... the problem can be in the decoder?

there is no reason to try blink back now, after entering codes suggested in this thread, and a codesearch, your code has been replaced.

retry the codesearch, but enter 0 in fourth step.

I've buy a ALL FOR ONE remote and works (looking for the code, not the "official codes"), so the problem is on the original remote.
