Hi Andy
I normally try and provide people with Custom Remotes by loading their device onto my Harmony Universal Remote from the Logitech database and using that to mimic the original remote and learn the codes. Unfortunately there don't appear to be any Goldbox PVRs in the database, only satellite receivers. So you may have to do the code learning yourself.
Sorry

| OK, further to this, 'vicky2003' has suggested that the Goldbox is one of the built in codes for the Slingbox. So you might want to run the setup routine and try Cable > Other > Custom Code and use C0853 as the alternate code. If that doesn't work try Satellite > Other > Custom Code and use S0853 as the code. I would be interested in the result. |

Unfortunately the the code didn't work, tried for both sat and cable.
I'm in the process of trying all the remotes in there, and from the looks of it it's going to take me a while, there at least a thousand or so codes between all the models in there.
I'll report back, hopefully with good news.

Thus far I have tried all remote codes available for Sat and Cable on Slingplayer, I started trying out the ones on PVR.
