Sony Bravia Sync codes
1. Device: Sony Bravia Sync buttons
2. Type of device: Multidevice (see below)
3. Year: don't know but recent
4. JP1/UEI Remote model: URC-7781
5. Do you have a JP1 cable?: Yes
6. Still have original remote?: No
7. Checked the file section?: Yes
8. Checked Pronto file section (at R/C)?: Yes
9. Partially working setup code?: No
10. Learning remote question?: No
I've been looking through the files section, the sony codes page and the sticky sony codes post and can't find the codes for the Sony Bravia Sync buttons to control a PS3 Slim from my TV (Sony Bravia KDL-40W2000).
The original TV remote (RM ED008) doesn't have them so I can't record them. It seems that RM ED016 does have them but I can't either find the codes for it.
Could someone, please, post these codes?.
Thanks a lot.

						Codes found
I found a bargain Sony RM-ED0016 remote in eBay so I ordered it to record the buttons and here is the upgrade.
I had mixed opinions about my TV (Sony Bravia KDL-40W2000) being able or not to relay the codes but the fact is the it DOESN'T so I've uploaded with the upgrade a dump of a remote with the recorded codes for someone, please, to check them.
Someone is going to have a good time adding new codes to the Sony Codes pages as none of these were listed.

Do you have a cable? Or are you trying to do keymoves with a built in code?jaycemil wrote:I'm trying to use these codes with a URC-9960 and I can't for the life of me figure out how to translate the device code. I've cross referenced the OBC to EFC and tried programming an advanced function key but it doesn't work. Can someone point me in the right direction?
And which 9960 do you have? On the back of the remote are there any letters after URC-9960?

Tip: When creating an upgrade, always include ALL functions from the oem remote, even if you never plan on assigning them to a button. Complete function lists makes an upgrade more helpful to others.

It's a URC-9960B01 so 5 digit advanced codes. I'm trying to program the Bravia Sync Pause above. My Sony remote doesn't have the Pause for God only knows why. I'm trying to program an advanced code to any button. Ultimately, my goal is to teach my harmony remote the Bravia Pause so I can pause my PS3 via HDMI.

Other sources seem to indicate Rob's list is the correct one. So see the if any of these work:
It's possible none work with the PS3.

Hmm 64556 should have been a rewind.jaycemil wrote:Ok, so I set the TV to 0810 and tried programming both 64556 and 65068 advanced codes to a button. Nada. 65068 very intermittently went through as fast forward if that means anything.

Interesting. Well, I tried them all and here's what I got.
12843 - Theater
00556 - Nothing, Tv IR receive LED doesn't blink
00812 - Same as above
64556 - Rewind
00044 - Nothing, Tv IR receive LED doesn't blink
65068 - Pause
04651 - Nothing but the receive LED does blink so it may be something else
Not sure what is going on but I did find may pause so thank you folks very much
