I've just acquired a few more RCU810s which I have modified and are now available for sale, $30 each.

Here's how I did the mod. First I dropped some hot glue onto the PCB end of the 6-pin and then positioned it in place with just a fraction of the pins showing through. This glob of glue will serve to not only hold the pins in place but also act as a cushion to stop you pushing the pins through.

Next, I soldered the tips of the pins onto the PCB.

Finally, I put a bunch more hot glue around the base of the 6-pin to ensure it's totally secure. A very professional job, even if I do say so myself.

So, who needs a new RCU810? For the newbies, it's an 8 device learning remote with LCD screen.

What remote do you use to control your RePlayTV rob? (which replay model(s) are you using?)

this one looks pretty good, except it doesnt have play, ff, rew, rec, stop or pause, but i guess the strange buttons at the bottom might suffice.

Oh, here is a link to a picture of it. Looks comfortable to hold and has a backlight!

Personally, I use a 15-1994 to work my ReplayTV, but I think there are a few folks over at AVS that use the RCU810. It seems like it would be a good remote for it.

Those buttons at the bottom ARE the transport keys, take a closer look.
