Looking for help with RS 15-2133

New to JP1 Forum and looking for some help with a RS 15-2133 and possible wave files for my TV and Satellite receiver.

1. Device: Hitachi 55VS69A (TV) and DIRECTV HR23 HD/DVR (Satellite)
2. Type of device: TV and Satellite receiver
3. Year: 2003 ???
4. JP1/UEI Remote model: RadioShack 15-2133 (American)
5. Do you have a JP1 cable? No
6. Still have original remote? Yes
7. Checked the file section? Yes, but no means of uploading
8. Checked Pronto file section (at R/C)? Yes
9. Partially working setup code? No
10. Learning remote question? I have tried using the learning function of the RS 15-2133, it works with the Hitachi remote for all of the functions that I programed, but I cannot program any functions from Directv remote.

I read here: http://ww.hifi-remote.com/forums/viewto ... ght=152133, where the RS 15-2133 can be programmed by wave file created in the File Section.

One more question, RS doesn't support the remote anymore, but I understand that it is a OFA remote. Does anyone know if they still offer support??

Thanks for any assistance that may be offered, I've done my research but have not found the answers that I am looking for and I hope the users of JP1 can help.

Ah but that is not true. You can create a WAV file from the files with the tools you can download from here.

Your remote has a TV -0145 that you can test to make sure that your remote uses the NEC1 80 upgrade.
Set TV to TV-0145
do a short press of the P key
then type 122
If this turns your TV on/off try using Hitachi TV upgrades that use NEC1 80.

For your DirecTV code, I'd start with the
DirecTV HR-20. There is nothing similar in the 2133.
