I have an Omega MX-650 and have done some research to find out if it is JP1 compatible. I did not find it listed in the Remote Chart Table I found posted 3-26-08 on this site and a search of the site yeilded no results.
One reviewer at Remote Central commented that it was not PC programmable. But, it does have a 7 pin connector under the batteries in the following configuration:
xxx
xxxx
URC, Inc. tech support told me that using PCL 300 and the corresponding software that another MX-650 could be cloned and flashed into this device.
My question is: If it can be reflashed using the above method, can it be updated or programmed using JP1 methods?
Thanks for your consideration.

Only remotes made by UEI are JP1 compatible. Your remote is made by URC. No JP1 cables, software or methods will work with it at all. You'll have to continue down the path URC recommended. We can't help you in this forum. You'll have to get a remote on the chart or in the list of RDF files in the file section if you want JP1 compatibility.
It is a little confusing because many UEI remotes have model numbers beginning with "URC". Many of those actually are JP1 compatible.
Good luck
