Wearing out flash memory?

Just out of curiosity: Flash memory can only do a finite number of writes. Is this an issue when frequently flashing JP1-remotes? Has someone really worn out the flash of a JP1?

Given that most flash these days can sustain at least 100,000 write cycles, I think you're safe.
