Excuse the short RANT that follows (ignore it if you wish):
Why is it that so many people when they actually go to the trouble to locate the teplate and attempt to use it fail to actually do what it requests/requires?!?! It pretty clearly states:
I almost understand more if someone is too inexperienced to even READ the sticky post with the template, but if you've actually USED the template, why not follow its guidance?
OK, my rant is over.
Not picking on you personally tt, but this happens an awful lot. How can that sticky be better written to prevent this happening?

A simple "yes" or "no" is almost NEVER a sufficient answer to this question.7. Checked the file section?
This is more of a checklist item than a real question. The assumption is that you have checked the file section to see if someone else has created an upgrade for this device but didn't find one. Please provide more details if this is not the case. AND REMEMBER, you don't always need to find the exact model that you have as many manufacturers use the same codeset for all models of a device.
If you have tested the upgrades for similar models and they didn't work, please say so in your post. If you found an upgrade that partially works, please post a link to it. DO NOT refer to upgrades by the setup code number that was used as this is meaningless to us.

1. Did a search of the forum for Roku Netflix. The only results were Roku SOUNDBRIDGE. Than wasn't it.
2.Didn't know which CATEGORY to look under in the file section.
Rob provided the link (which was what I was looking for in the first place). Thank you Rob.
3. I had never even heard of a Netflix box (it is my friends). Never got to testing anything.
I have learned on this forum that when I get up on the wrong side of the bed in the morning, it is best to pull the covers over my head and say nothing....
So - ignore my rant!

I can appreciate the Category confusion. That's where the File Section Search function comes in handy. I understand it's hard to use under the covers however.tennessee titan wrote:1. Did a search of the forum for Roku Netflix. The only results were Roku SOUNDBRIDGE. Than wasn't it.

When you're looking for a file the trick is to search the FILE SECTION rather than the FORUM. And sometimes it's better to use less search words rather than more. In this case I just searched for Roku in order to find the file that you need.tennessee titan wrote:1. Did a search of the forum for Roku Netflix. The only results were Roku SOUNDBRIDGE.
