Nokia32 with empty hexadecimal values

Post by brunopais »

Hi guys,

I'm trying to create an upgrade for my cable box (Thomson DCI) and when I read the IR codes through IR widget I always get a 0 in the Hex field.

I get device and subdevice, and the the diferent commands create different X values. 32 33 34 35 36 .....

I have been through the forum all afternoon and I can see that a variation of the nokia32 protocol was created to handle some different X values for a Freebox HD.https://www.hifi-remote.com/forums/viewt ... 37&start=0

In that solution the bottom nibble of the OBC code controls the X value. But that will only allow values from 0 til 15, right?

Is it possible for one of the gurus to create a similar update in the protocol to allow values up to 255?

Can you just confirm how you use this protocol ? I had the same situation using IRScope where the OBC/Hex was always zero and the X-value changed. What do you put against the OBC/Hex values for the each function.
