Pixel Magic MTV5000

Post by lamjas »

I used the binary file for MTV3000 which only works for 90% of buttons. Some major buttons are not functional at all (e.g., exit, play) and some buttons are missing (Live TV, the four color buttons, aspects). If anyone can create one, please post it here. Thanks in advanced.

I've built a new remote and put the test files at:

https://www.hifi-remote.com/forums/dload ... le_id=6647

I have added the colour buttons as Custom1,2,3,4. I think the original Exit code was wrong so may have fixed that. I have no explanation as to why the Play doesn't work.

Let me know how you get on.

Still waiting patiently for a reply from one of you. I can't put this remote on the public forums until I know it works.

Sorry about that, whoever uploaded that should have included the BIN files. Try this link instead

Hi

The link has been removed, can someone tell me how to do it?
How to convert the rmdu file to bin file? or send me the bin file for Magic TV.
Do I just put the bin file in SBAV folder?
Thanks in advance.

Thanks. I have read you read me file.

What is the difference between V2010_PL.bin and V2010_RV.bin?

Do I need both of them?
Are they both for Magic TV DVR?

Sorry about these stupid questions.

PL is for US boxes and RV is for non-US boxes. I used to say that in the Readme file but found a number of people did not know the country there Slingbox was made in, used the wrong file and then complained it didn't work. As it happens the Slingbox is clever enough to pick the right file so now I tell people to put both of them in.

I see, how can I create these bin file myself? As I might have different devices..

do I use this http://betaremotes.slingbox.com/ to learn my remote control and create these files?
